Cricket Scotland League 2012

From 2012 he SNCL will be renamed the Cricket Scotland League (CSL) and will consist of a Western and Eastern Conference each of 16 teams. The Conferences will consist of a Premier Division and First Division of eight teams.

On completion of the league season –

The winners of the Western and Eastern Premier Divisions will contest the Cricket Scotland Premiership Final, to be held at a suitable neutral venue in alternate years in the East and West.

In both Conferences the team finishing bottom of their respective Premier Division will be relegated and the winner of the First Division promoted.

There will be a Play off between the team finishing last in the Western First Division and the winner of the WDCU Premiership with the winner playing in the CSL Western First Division the following season.

There will be a Play off between the between the team finishing last in the Eastern First Division and the winner of the ESCA / SPCU Play off (subject to eligibility); with the winner playing in the CSL the following season.
