The Ayr Ladies /Girl's team - Ayr Pink Panthers - was formed 3 years ago by a group of keen ladies & girls connected to the club who wanted to " have a go ". The team has progressed from being total beginners to playing in the newly formed Women's Scottish Cup last year to this year taking part in both the Scottish Cup and also the new Women's League which 6 teams from around Scotland played in. Our games were great fun and although we still have to win a game, we are getting there thanks to the help and encouragement of our 2 coaches , Alan "Albs" Simpson & Scott "Scooter" McElnea.

Our quest to improve will continue during the winter at indoor training in the Citadel - same dates as juniors - where we will be working on all aspects of the game but mainly our batting. Any ladies or girls wanting to try it out are welcome. Our team has an age range from 50 - 8 years so don't feel you will be out of place. We have great fun while keeping fit! The Team also took part in the Trade 6's the last 2 years at the club where we played against mixed teams of senior & junior players which was great fun. Come along and join us as we are always on the lookout for new players - young or old(er) !
